The race is run….

That’s it for the Brewood 10k 2018, it’s all over and done with,  and despite the worries we had on Friday about the weather it turned out to be a lovely sunny day by the end of the race.

Many congratulations to our winners, 1st male was Chris Horton fom Badgers who came in at 35m 45s and 1st female Kim Fawke who set a new female course record of 36m 35s

A very big ‘thank you’ to all our amazing sponsors and supporters:

  • St Domini c’s Grammar School for the use of their Sports Hall, Sports Field and other facilities.
  • Staffordshire County Council for their Road Closure signs.
  • Arthur Moreton for the closures barriers.
  • Gemma from the Village Bakery as she donated 50 cup cakes for the 1st 50 Runners
  • The Lion Hotel for the brilliant cakes and use of their tables.
  • Brewood and Coven Running Group for the hands on help with set up and take down and cake donation
  • Codsall Police cadets for being great car-park attendants and general assistance in St Dominic’s
  • The Staff at Brewood CO-OP for their great assistance with teas and coffees at the start.

  • Our amazing, smiling marshals and sweepers: for ensuring you all safely stick to the correct route.
  • And lastly, our committee of organisers/race directors who have given so generously of their time and who have stressed and worried about getting this whole thing to take place

Most if all, THANK YOU to you lot, our runners. We couldn’t do this without you.

Soon we will publish a lot more stuff here.. more photos and links to the race results etc. in the meantime the organisers will take a couple of days to chill.

Once again many thanks to everyone…
